Our Connecticut correspondent Saugatucker mentions a most unlikely rider on the 6:29 p.m. New Haven Line train Friday: a giant dragonfly.
Saugatucker says the New Haven Line suits broke from their usual cocoons to work together in removing the dragonfly from the train, like some bizarre test on The Apprentice. He says they got the thing out at 125th Street, thought it wasn’t without a fight. After all, as you can see in the photo, he had his own seat, and he was lucky enough to ride on one of the elusive new M-8 cars.
“A beautiful guest while he was with us,” notes Saugie.
