Unhinged in Grand Central

I was storming through Pershing Square yesterday, hustling to make the 5:27, as usual, when I saw that three of the six or so wooden doors leading into/out of Vanderbilt Hall were gone–eliminating the precious-seconds-sucking process of negotiating with the Rangers fans, tourists, and reverse commuters coming out of the concourse.

I assume this is temporary–that the GCT folks are replacing or fixing the doors.

But for a day, it meant easy come and go.
