The performer Kevin Bacon was apparently a victim of a Blackberry-snatching at the B-D-E subway station at 53rd and 7th late last week. According to published reports, Bacon went freakin’ Footloose on the thief, chasing the guy down the platform.
The pilfering took place just before 11 a.m. Thursday morning. According to the NY Post:
Bacon didn’t give up the BlackBerry easily. The star took off after the crook, but lost track of him as he raced through the station’s crowd, the sources said.
Kev surely has scores of A-list phone numbers in the Blackberry, including those for his wife Kyra Sedgwick, his Bacon Brothers band, and the thousands of actors he’s shared the set with over the decades.
