Wouldn’t you know it, the first day in forever that I take a personal day and don’t bike to work is National Bike/Walk to Work Day. (About that awkward “Bike/Walk” construct, you just know it used to be “Bike to Work Day”, until the “Walk to Work” folks started getting all huffy.)
As it runs out it was Green Commute Week all week in New Hampshire, where organizers urged Hampshirers to “bike, walk, carpool, ride transit.” Because New Hampshire apparently isn’t green enough.
