Loud, Raunchy ‘Train’ Chugs into Penn Station

Tonight’s headliner at Madison Square Garden is none other than those whiskey-swilling, schoolboy-uniform wearing louts from AC/DC.

As you may have heard on the radio, AC/DC has a new album out, and the first single would warm the heart of any transit-oriented blogger, as it’s called “Rock and Roll Train.”

The New York Times had a very good profile of the band last month, and Robert Levine summed up the band’s lyrics about as well as a rock journalist ever might hope to: “The band makes no pretense to art, and its lyrics often contain what might be called single entendres.”

On that note–er, ear-splitting power chord–we share the raging single entendres embedded within the lyrics of “Rock and Roll Train.” Be forewarned, it’s no Sheena Easton number.
