A trio of New York Jets were spied canoodling behind the velvet rope in the al fresco patio at Pershing Square Friday afternoon, across from Grand Central. They were easily identifiable as Jets because, well, they were wearing Jets uni’s.

Turns it out was a promotion to sell seat licenses at the new Jets stadium. Some girls were there to hand out five-yard tape measures, the angle being, you can get seats within five yards of the coaches’ boxes, which apparently would be worth several thousand dollars to some guys.

Unfortunately, the Jets were fakes.
