Photobasement.com has a post about the most innovative thing to come out of Vienna since Maria turned those ugly drapes into clothes for the von Trapp children.
It’s the “Railroad Sleep Hanger,” and it’s a triangle-shaped device that hangs from the train ceiling and offers up a comfy shelf to rest your head, avec pillow, and another below to rest your arms. The Sleep Hanger, which looks like it was invented about 80 years ago, was the brainchild of Viennese inventor Dr. Igo Seeger.
I wonder if Don Draper uses one of these on the way back to Ossining after a particularly boozy day at work.
