As is often the case when we read the LilSubwayCrybaby blog, we have no idea if Lil is jerking our chain, or actually living among the so-called Mole People several feet under Manhattan.

Yes, there is an entire population that lives underground, literally underground in Manhattan. At first, I thought it would be easy to find these people. I would simply slip into a subway tunnel and walk around until someone tried to stab me. Not so easy. I backpacked for a good three days before finding my first entrance. I later learned there are only four entrances into the real underground in the entire city and this is the reason it has remained to secluded.
After working for NYCTA back in 94′-98′ I can pretty emphatically state that after many subteranean adventures I never found “one of four entrances” nor have I ever heard of such a thing other than in the book the “mole people” which has questionable provenance. Further, the NYCT subway is well documented especially both in their official archives at at the fansite http://www.nycsubway.org that its hard to believe those statements. I certainly ran into homeless in the tubes, abandoned stations, seldom used or closed areas that were accessible to homeless but never outright “cities”. The only “four” entrances to this “world” may be the access points for the portions of the 2nd ave subway that were build years ago. I’ve been down those but no one lives there since the hatches are wired for security. I’ll have to check out the “lilsubwaycrybaby” site
I had always thought that the mole people didn’t live in the subway tunnels, they lived in Amtrack-owned rail tunnels near Union station.
i live down there got my own internet cables so i can communicate with the upper floors. we like it down here cause of the smell and the shit we live in. its really nice to walk around the tunnels with psychopaths in every corner, try to bite you and take some meat out of my asshole, well, that for now, i cant wait for some reply

There are different people than the mole people that live underground in NYC.
Why all the suspense? I have read the first entry like 5 times already, every morning eagerly logging on to lilsubwaycrybaby.com and trainjotting.com for updates but there are none… I want to see pictures!!
