Word of the Week: MISREMEMBER

MISREMEMBER: /MISS remm EMM bur/ verb: To have an incomplete recollection of events from years past, whether it’s a hazy late-night ride home on Metro-North, or a discussion of your use of human growth hormone with your best friend.

Usage: I thought I’d been to Rye train station years back, but when I went there last week, I realized I’d misremembered ever being there.
