Get Lit on Metro-North

There’s quite a lively discourse on reading while commuting over on the NY Times book blog Paper Cuts. While you have to cut through some of the rhapsodic meanderings inherent to the literature crowd, there are some funny posts among the 96 comments from readers, many from well outside the New York area. (96 comments? And Trainjotting can’t muster more than 2 or 3?)

The author, Dwight Garner, also suggests a book exchange library in Grand Central.

Among the popular reads: The New Yorker, Cheever, Uncle John’s Gigantic Bathroom Reader, and more than one person touting downloadable books on the iPod.
