Word of the Week: SEATENFREUDE

SEATENFREUDE: SEET en FROYD/noun/ The guilty pleasure one gets when sitting in a train packed with aisle surfers. (Note: seatenfreude is best enjoyed from the comfy confines of the object of one’s O. Seat D.)

Usage: I missed the 5:56, but I consoled myself with a beer and a hot pretzel and boarded the 6:18 15 minutes early. I got my favorite seat and I enjoyed a seatenfreude-filled ride all the way to Larchmont.
