What is this, Amsterdam?
Posted by TJ under Bike to Work
It’s National Bike Month, and Friday, May 18, has been dubbed “Bike to Work Day.” Transportation alternatives-types will be set up around the city on Friday, handing out free pastries and coffee and generally applauding your cycling efforts.
Never one to shy from a challenge, Trainjotting is getting in on the act. This Friday, we’ll be dusting off the ol’ Schwinn (actually, it’s an old…very old…Trek) and riding to the train station. TJ will be preparing all week by stretching and reviewing old tapes of Lance Armstrong at the Tour de France, ironing our “LiveStrong” bracelets and working closely with our peleton to devise the best strategy for biking to the train.
If our bike gets stolen, we’ll be f*&%ing furious.
