Commuting in Cancun
Posted by TJ under Cancun
OK, as promised, my long-awaited report on the commuting patterns along the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.
Alright, then. Here goes.
Well, we got there on a Sunday, so it was sort of hard to gauge traffic on the short drive from the airport to the resort.
And we left on the following Sunday, so it again wasn’t the best representation of how people get to and from work.
And we didn’t really leave the resort much, except to check out the Wet N Wild water park. And on that ride, we got caught up in a logjam for about five minutes, as the policia peered inside people’s cars. A guy was all in black, with a bullet-proof vest and a machine gun. He looked like he was warm. The backlog probably would’ve sucked if you were commuting.
Maybe I should go back and do some more research.
